The following steps enable connecting your Google or Microsoft Exchange account with Elen. This will authorise Elen to read all emails exchanged with clients via your Google or MS email account.


Once connected, Elen will automatically generate an activity log for each email exchanged with  a clients in Elen.

Sign into Elen and go to Admin -> Email tab


Gmail/Google integration


1. To connect with Google, Elen must first be 'white-listed' via the google account workspace administrators admin page:

  1. Go to https://admin.google.com/ac/owl -> Manage Third party App Access -> Add app -> oAuth App name or Client ID

  2. Enter 766973179022-8gbdrgoio661nbilv0vke4fr1n98dbc2.apps.googleusercontent.com

  3. Select Elen from the list

  4. Check the 766973179022-8gbdrgoio661nbilv0vke4fr1n98dbc2.apps.googleusercontent.com client id -> Select -> Select Trusted and click on Configure button

2. Select the Gmail button and sign in via the following screen:

3. Click Allow on the popup after entering your Gmail log in details, this confirms what the integration will allow Elen to do:

4. You will then see Email status: Connected:


Outlook/Microsoft integration


1. Select the Outlook button and sign in via the following screen:


2. You may be asked if you want to stay signed in after entering your password.


3. Click Yes on the popup after entering your Outlook log in details, this confirms what the integration will allow Elen to do:

Once your email account is integrated


Once your email account is connected, any email sent to or received from a client, via your connected email account, will display as an activity:


Any attachment or inline images will be displayed as attachments underneath the email body, with the download button on the right:
